If, like RAM, your organization operates in many different countries, international accounting features are imperative; with an increasing focus on corporate governance regulations, this requirement is becoming even more prevalent. Designed with this in mind, the fixed asset accounting module incorporates a wide range of international accounting features including multi-book, multi-currency and multi-lingual functionality and complies with both US and European accounting standards.
Multi-book
Core asset information can be shared across any number of books with different sets of figures, enabling compliance with both local and group depreciation policies. Information such as analysis codes, descriptions, acquisition and capitalization dates can remain constant across all books, while details like asset life, depreciation rules and residual values can be book dependant.
Transactions such as full or partial disposals, transfers and asset splits can be applied across all books. Asset relifes and revaluations are book-specific.
Yes. Each accounting book can be independently configured to meet international accounting regulations. The software allows organizations with international locations to manage assets in a centralized register along with their US-based assets.
Web-based and client/server projects are installed by RAM's team of implementation consultants. The assigned consultant will travel to the client site to implement and configure the software and provide training.
Stand-alone systems are installed remotely. Clients are assigned an implementation consultant who facilitates the installation process from beginning to end. Online training courses are conducted upon completion of the installation.
