Inventory Management and Control Software – Inventory4000

Real Asset Management International’s (RAMI) inventory management software provides the facility to store detailed information against inventory (non-capitalized assets) and stock items. Inventory4000 holds detailed information against each item and records transfer and disposal events, technical inspections and maintenance plans. This non-capitalized asset register satisfies both IT and financial requirements with its ability to fully integrate with the Asset4000 module. The link allows users to associate inventory items with capitalized assets so that events can be generated as a result, if desired.

Reporting

Inventory4000’s powerful report writer provides an array of standard reporting structures and a comprehensive range of user-defined templates. With a single screen common to all standard and customized reports, the reports function is both familiar and simple to use. Users can sequence data in accordance with over 100 user-defined fields that can later be printed as a header page for the full report.

Three levels of sequencing are available for each report. Reports can be ordered by category, type or physical location. Alternatively, results can also be gathered based on a single field. Reports can be configured to begin on a new page when sequencing values change.

Quickly transform a report summary into a detailed, professional analysis. Reports can be viewed on screen, sent to a printer, emailed or exported to business tools such as Microsoft Excel®.

With RAMI’s Data Import Wizard, raw data (in a range of formats) can be directly imported into the non-capitalized asset register. This tool offers as simple way to import new inventory items and update existing ones. The Data Import Wizard saves users a significant amount of time by eliminating the need to manually enter or update each asset.

Additional Information

The ‘Condition’ tab in Inventory4000 makes it easy to monitor both the current and historical state of an inventory item. Items are assigned user-defined condition codes; for example, AI may refer to a ‘healthy’ asset, where as A6 denotes an item in need of replacement. Records can be edited or updated as necessary following repair, damage or disposal and the system can be configured to provide alerts for items that require service.

The ‘Events’ tab in Inventory4000 enables users to access a summary, or entire history, of events relating to a single item. Events are performed on a date/time basis and include either batch or individual acquisitions, transfers and disposals. Transfers relate to movement of inventory items from one location to another. Disposals refer to the sale, loss or complete dilapidation of an item.

The ‘Maintenance’ tab in Inventory4000 records information on all planned, unplanned and completed maintenance related to inventory items. Inventory4000 has a seamless link to RAMI’s computerized maintenance management software, Maintenance4000.

The ‘Stock’ tab in Inventory4000 allows users to link stock items to related inventory items that can then be viewed, monitored, and updated with up to 25 lines of analysis codes, descriptions and amounts and dates. Software licenses and computer equipment can be allocated to inventory items then ‘Stock Allocated’ and ‘Stock Available’ levels are automatically updated as items are issued.
